Field Service Hardware/ Computer Engineer
Job Description
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Field Service Engineer to join a blue chip organisation in London on an initial one month contract.
Expected Essential Job Responsibilities:
• Troubleshooting, Diagnostic, installation, maintenance and repair of designated equipment.
• Completing Preventative Maintenance and field modifications as well as IMAC work
• There can be 50% + travel in any day so willingness to travel is essential
• A very strong relationship with Dispatch is vital and must be sought
• Maintaining and monitoring daily communication tools, Phone, Voicemail and Email
• Keeping up to date on administrative responsibilities such as maintaining updates to all respective support departments
• Ensuring best practice standards and common sense are always sought
• Maintaining tools, test equipment and Company supplied Vehicle.
• Adherence to all part process and procedures
• Meeting Health and Human Services, Environmental Health and Safety and/or all other applicable regulatory requirements.
• Utilizing escalation and support process’s to resolve service delivery issues.
• Working as a member of the local team to provide efficient service delivery to all accounts within assigned area.
• The ability to lift and carry parts that can weigh up to 25 kgs.
• Adhering to current regulatory requirements.
• Adherence to all employee administration and deadlines, Overtime, Expenses, Mileage Declaration.

Requirements
The following requirements are necessary to successfully perform this role. However, any equivalent combination of experience, education and training, which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities, would be acceptable, subject to any legal and/or regulatory requirements.
• ONC or equivalent IT qualification
• Experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as part of a solution based service process.
• Valid full UK driver’s license and good driving record is required.
• Three years’ experience of diagnosing and repairing IT Equipment
• Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
• Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
• Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
• Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
