Field Service Pump Mechanic-Pay up to 55/h

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSeeking a Field Service Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a top-tier industrial pump installation and repair company in Anaheim, CA

• Shift Time/Overtime: 40 hours a week with overtime as needed; will be placed on an on-call schedule once trained
• Pay: $35-55/H based on experience.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Pump Mechanic:
 

• Troubleshoot and diagnose root-cause problems for centrifugal or rotating pumps
• Arranges necessary parts and service to resolve issues
• Responsible for completing all tasks from installation, startup, scheduled maintenance, functional & performance testing, training, project closeout, and warranty transition.
• Check all equipment after installation and prior to start-up of pumps and associated equipment
• Get service tickets signed by appropriate company representative before leaving location.
• Works with customer to understand equipment issues.

Qualifications of the Field Service Pump Mechanic:
 

• 3-5 years pump experience
• Experience with rotating equipment repair
• Acceptable driving record required according to company guidelines
• Must be willing to work off-site as well as the shop
• Experience with vibration and alignment tools
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Be able to work outside field jobs; extreme cold/heat
• High School Diploma required
