The Opportunity:
Location: Adelaide
KBR is currently seeking Expression of Interest for a talented Field Service Representative (FSR) within Mission Planning System (MPS).
The FSR is responsible for providing client facing (level 1) operative support for the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) software utilised at the Distributed Ground Station Australia (DGS-AUS) located at RAAF Base Edinburgh.
Level 1 FSR support consists of Help Desk functions for the JMPS Mission System, supporting calls for assistance. The FSR shall provide technical advice generally, and personal assistance to local users. If level 1 support is unable to resolve a technical issue they will facilitate escalation to DPE or DSE Help Desk or internal KBR level 2 support as appropriate.
Support will consist of a mixture of onsite and on call support to cover the required 14 hours per day, 7 days per week. Surge periods to cover 24 hour on call support during Exercises or Operations can be expected
The key responsibilities of the role will include, but is not limited to:

Onsite and on call support to ensure operational support of JMPS Mission Planning software for DGS-AUS (primarily JMPS on DSE),

Resolution of user queries on the operation of JMPS,
-
Configuration of JMPS for user requirements,
-
Requests for geospatial data updates,
-
Requests for mission overlay data updates,
-
Investigation of technical issues and escalation to level 2 contractor or DPE / DSE helpdesk as appropriate.

Informal training of unit personnel on the operation of JMPS

Escalation of any issues (Software, Hardware, Resources) to the Project Manager.

Work collaboratively with a distributed team
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
Essential:
-
AGSVA NV2 Security clearance, PV .
-
Strong interpersonal Skills.
-
Willingness to work shift work, including weekends and public holidays.

A cooperative, customer based focus.
-
Ability to develop and implement improvements in processes, including writing of Bench Level Instructions.
Desirable:
-
Demonstrated knowledge of Military Operations and Procedures.
-
Demonstrated knowledge of ADF Aviation MPS (JMPS) and applicable software elements.
-
Advanced Office Computing Application knowledge in Win 10, Excel, Word, Access & XML
-
Knowledge of Defence ICT environments.
