Job Description: Field Service Technician

Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join our team. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support in the field, as well as installing, repairing, and maintaining various industrial equipment and machinery. The successful candidate will possess excellent mechanical and problem-solving skills, outstanding customer service abilities, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:
- Install, assemble, and calibrate industrial equipment and machinery according to specifications and company guidelines.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment malfunctions promptly to minimize downtime and production loss.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to identify and resolve technical problems effectively.
- Conduct equipment testing and performance evaluation to ensure compliance with technical standards and regulations.
- Provide on-site training and technical support to customers, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of service activities, including equipment repairs, maintenance, and installations.
- Assist in the development of service procedures, manuals, and documentation for both internal use and customer reference.
- Stay updated with the latest technological advancements and industry trends relevant to the products and services provided.
- Adhere to company safety guidelines and protocols while working in the field.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism while interacting with customers, colleagues, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is highly desirable.
- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or similar role, ideally in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced troubleshooting skills.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team when required.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects and equipment.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
