Job Purpose:

We are seeking a dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent customer service skills to provide on-site maintenance and repair services.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Inspection of hoists, pullers, as well as other lifting and rigging such as slings, nylon, chain, and hardware
• Input computerized inspection reports, quote any repairs that are required, and advise customers of cost to repair
• Facilitate repair, with customer approval, to restore the equipment to original manufacturer’s specifications, including load testing
• Enter all information about repair on an order for delivery and invoicing
• Communicate constantly with Team Leader or Dispatcher any changes in customer requirements.
• Perform any inspections either in house or at customers facility as required
• Travel out of town for periods of time and work at customers locations utilizing fully equipped 24’ box trailer with all tools and testing equipment required to do all inspections, repairs, and testing
• Operate all machinery in a safe and orderly manner, including but not limited to man lifts, testers, trucks and other motorized vehicles
• Attend training and safety classes as requested
• Complies with company policies and procedures giving special attention to safety regulations

Job Requirements:

• Mechanical aptitude required
• Electrical aptitude
• Strong reading/writing skills, including ability to read a tape measure
• Computer aptitude required, including Microsoft
• Ability to travel for up to a week at a time as required to service regional customers
• Ability to drive a truck with attached 24' box trailer
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test, DOT physical exam, and background check-including MVR
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
• Must be at least 18 years of

Environmental Job Requirements:

• Must be able to work efficiently outdoors with regular exposure to heat or cold.
• Must be comfortable standing or walking for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to comfortably work from elevated heights in order to diagnose and repair equipment.
• Must be willing and able to travel job sites or other branches to assist as needed to maintain customer satisfaction and safety.
