Job Overview
Tecport Optics is looking for a competent Field Service Technician to perform maintenance and mechanical installation for high vacuum equipment. The technician will undertake a variety of activities in the company as well as in the field, ranging from system assembly to system operation.

The ideal candidate must be reliable, hardworking, good communication skills, familiar with manufacturing equipment, well organized, and must be a strong team player.

Job Function
Assist in assembling mechanical components to build high vacuum machines Assist in installing electrical components Assist the engineering team in implementing new procedures, run electronics cables and wires in accordance with schematics and drawings Maintain tools and test equipment Assist in shipping and receiving And other various supporting functions

Requirements
US or Green Card Holder
Familiarity with manufacturing procedure
Understanding of vacuum system Excellent communication
Work well with others
Ability to multitask
Job requires up to 50% traveling, domestic and international Installation demands the physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.
Working height platform can reach up to 15’

Pay
Depending on the level of experience
