Position Summary:
We are seeking a Field Service Technician to become an integral part of our Laser Shot Team! The Field Service Technician is an Entry- Level position that assists senior field service technicians. This position performs field maintenance, installation, troubleshooting and unscheduled service calls to support Laser Shot’s firearm simulator product lines. Please note this position does offer on the job training.
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support and assistance on commercial products to dealers, end users, field technicians and internal staff. including digital signage, hospitality, video walls and associate peripheral equipment’s.
- Support is provided via telephone, e-mail or other electronic means, direct visits and/or through onsite technical training.
- Assist Project Management in designing or identifying install components
- Installs network and A/V cabling, computers, projectors, IP cameras, and other A/V equipment.
- Provides preventative and corrective field mechanical service on Laser Shot components on site at client locations.
- Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time.
- Helps coordinate and assist with scheduled and unscheduled equipment installs, repairs, and maintenance.
- Responsible for submitting accurate maintenance reports and other necessary paperwork.
- Is dedicated to customer service and maintains professional working relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Adhere to proper expense reporting procedures and accountable for travel budgets.
Requires Skills:
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows based programs (Office products, XP, Vista, Windows 7)
- Possesses a strong knowledge of new computer technologies and comprehensive mechanical, diagnostic, and analytical skills.
- Must have great presentation skills- need to be able to train large groups- military, law enforcement, etc.
- Capable of minimal fabrication, running cables, rack wiring, and termination techniques.
- Must have the skills and abilities to use standard test equipment, power and hand tools.
- Troubleshoot and diagnoses computer system and A/V system issues, familiar with other low voltage installations
- Must be able to climb ladders and lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
- Must be willing to travel (domestic and international) – up to 75%
- Works well in a team environment.
- Always represents Laser Shot in a professional manner.
- Follows all Health, Safety and Environmental procedures.
- May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.
- Ability to workday, evening, or weekends.

- Two- five years of experience in military

Experience handling firearms and marksmanship training

OSHA 10 training

First Aid certification
Education:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
