Field Service Technician

Talento Search Group has an opening for a Field Service Technician for a company based in Cincinnati, Ohio. This is a direct-hire position. This is a 1st shift position with a schedule from Monday-Friday, home every weekend. This position will require at least 50% travel and overnight stays. The pay rate is about $28-30 per hour, depending on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide accurate and timely support.

Setup, install, repair and perform preventive maintenance on equipment at customer sites within the assigned region.

Maintain customer and unit history on the CRM database.

Determines labor and spare parts required on-site repairs.

Makes recommendations for parts replacement as a preventative measure.

Experience with instrumentation and electrical components

Work on ladders (up to 40 ft extension ladders), towers, and boom lifts
Experience Needed:
-
At least 2 years of recent field service experience

MS-Office and general personal computer knowledge
-
Must be able to read and comprehend electrical schematics and drawing.

Good oral and written communication skills
-
Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.

Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail when inspecting, troubleshooting and repairing units to ensure the work is accurate and complete.

Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Ability to climb ladders and work from heights

Frequent travel.
