Zing Recruiting has partnered with a leader in the office solutions industry. Our Monee, IL location has an opening for a motivated Field Services Technician to work onsite for the night shift. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves working hands on and is electro-mechanically inclined. You will be spotting a solution and fixing a problem which is a tremendous technical skillset. The company has a fantastic training program that will allow for travel to various sites for the 1st 3-6 months. Once training is completed, you will be working at the Monee site from 6pm - 6am for 3 1/2 days per week. (this means you have 3 1/2 days off as well).

Qualifications include:

• HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience.
• Basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new-hire class.
• The ability to travel (valid driver's license and acceptable driving record necessary).
• The capability to work in a 24/7 environment, while performing shift work and on-call rotations.
• Required to take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter the customers’ premises.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).

Once trained, your responsibilities will include:

• Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
• Service and repair designated equipment
• Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups. This includes basic aspects of troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on-site maintenance.
• Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports
• Provide the solutions of escalated technical and/or customer service-related problem areas for any territory requested.

In this role, you will receive a pay rate of 45k-53k depending on experience and a bonus and shift differential when you begin on site in Monee. BENEFTIS begin day 1!!
