QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reads job order and observes, listens, and diagnoses all types of Caterpillar machines.
- Drive to customers’ location.
- Performs field service, repairs and installation of customers’ equipment when required.
- Operates Company service vehicle and applicable equipment when required.
- Performs general shop repairs on equipment.
- Keeps records of service reports and work orders.
- Disassembles unit and inspects parts for wear.
- Follows all company policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook, Safety (SB198), and shop procedures.
- This is a drving position
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Ability to write service reports.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works in outside weather conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and in high precarious places.

COMPENSATION
Wage Range $40.98 to $51.53 Hourly
Wage depends on knowledge, skills and ability to perform the responsibilities of the job.
