ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Multiple times a day you will be the answer to our customers’ issues by bringing innovative, game-changing solutions for their print management needs. As a Field Service Technician, you will enjoy making a positive impact on the business and our customers through maintaining, servicing, and repairing their office equipment throughout the service area.

  • Provide on-site technical support and maintenance for multifunctional printers, copiers, and other devices.
  • Deliver product training efficiently and effectively.
  • Diagnose equipment issues and carry out installations and upgrades.
  • A willingness to expand and grow as a diversified technician across manufacturers.
  • Make modifications, remove old units, and retrofit existing hardware.
  • Complete field calls according to priority while practicing effective time management.
  • Continuously enhance your technical skills for field assignments.
  • Work as part of a cohesive team to meet the customer’s needs.
  • Maintain the company provided vehicle, your parts inventory, and tools in proper working condition.
  • Participate in continuing education provided by the dealer’s manufacturer to stay current on the latest models.
  • Strive to achieve the expectations of the performance-based bonus plan.

REQUIREMENTSQualification and Skill Requirements

  • Toshiba, Ricoh, and/or Epson certifications ; at least one listed manufacturer certification required.
  • Intermediate computer skills.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical skills.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. comfortably with frequent bending, lifting, and reaching.
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3 years or more of expertise in repairing, servicing, and installing office equipment, including copiers and printers.

Any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent and acceptable will be considered.

TOTAL COMPENSATIONBASE PAY

$21.00 to $23.00/hour

BONUS OPPORTUNITY

Receive a monthly bonus based upon 6 core factors of your personal performance: (a) average calls per day, (b) callback percentage, (c) incomplete percentage, (d) average parts per call, (e) first call effectiveness, and (f) average response time.

The average Field Service Technician bonus, per month, is approximately $250.00.

  • Invest up to 15% of your wages

Vacation / Paid Time Off Days

  • 13 PTO days (104 Hours) total per year after first complete year of employment, prorated after the initial 6-month period for the remainder of the first year
  • Ability to carryover up to 16 hours of accrued PTO in the following year
