Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for customers and factories trouble shooting problems in the field and providing factory start-ups and generally works independently. All aspects of providing technical support and problem solving for customers, factories and outside sales personnel.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufactures to including but not limited to:
  • Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems
  • Provides control programming and testing in the field
  • Provides investigation and analysis in the field
  • Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Essential Skills:

  • 2-3 years’ experience on electrical or low voltage system
  • Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming
  • Basic understanding of electrical power systems
  • Understanding of basic Networking principles
  • Ability to read and understand building and control drawings
  • Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making
  • Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly
  • Must be able to travel extensively
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage
  • Must be proficient on word, excel, and outlook
