Position Summary: Responsible as technical resource for customers and factories trouble shooting problems in the field and providing factory start-ups and generally works independently. All aspects of providing technical support and problem solving for customers, factories and outside sales personnel.
Position Responsibilities:
- Provides start-ups and service for lighting control manufactures to including but not limited to:
- Identify solutions to on-site technical issues involving lighting control systems
- Provides control programming and testing in the field
- Provides investigation and analysis in the field
- Makes or directs installation corrections to solve problems
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Essential Skills:
- 2-3 years’ experience on electrical or low voltage system
- Knowledge of low voltage system and logic programming
- Basic understanding of electrical power systems
- Understanding of basic Networking principles
- Ability to read and understand building and control drawings
- Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
- Understanding the implications of new information for both current and future problem solving and decision making
- Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Must have the ability to multi-task and make decisions quickly
- Must be able to travel extensively
- Must possess a valid driver’s license, along with auto insurance meeting minimum requirement of 100/300k injury/accident coverage
- Must be proficient on word, excel, and outlook
