A proven leader in the industry for 40 years with 5 locations, is looking to hire a Field Service Technician Mechanic to service and repair an extensive line of compact, forestry and grounds equipment. Success in this position is heavily dependent upon strong mechanical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with little supervision. Get paid $30 - $45 per hour plus overtime for your experience and strong mechanical skills! NO WEEKENDS - Monday - Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm with some variability due to customer needs. Burnsville location.

Essential Functions:

• Diagnose and repair equipment as needed
• Perform required preventive maintenance
• Communicate job progress to service manager
• Inspect and test equipment when work completed
• Obtain or order parts needed for repairs
• Check work orders for complete and accurate descriptions of work performed and proper parts and labor is accounted for
• Work safely and independently with little supervision
• Maintain company safety standards
• Willing to participate in all training programs, including limited out of state training and keep current on new equipment updates

Minimum Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a mechanic in diesel engine repair and service
• Complete set of tools, plus eligible for our Tool Allowance Program!
• Experience with hydraulic/hydrostatic systems and electrical systems and troubleshooting
• Valid driver's license with DOT health card or ability to obtain one
• Experience operating a Bobcat or similar compact construction equipment
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Good time management skills with the ability to complete work as scheduled
