Field Technician

We are offering a $3,000 sign-on bonus and $175 additional dollars per diem each day for our Travel Field Technicians! Full benefits package & career growth opportunity into a leadership position. Heavy travel involved to service biopharmaceutical, aerospace, and military.Position Opportunity:Astro Pak is in search of a motivated Travel Field Technician that are looking for career growth and training opportunity. The Field Technician will perform field services duties of chemical cleaning and passivation of vessels and piping in various industries, including biopharma, aerospace, and military. Under supervision, the technicians will work together to complete the chemical process in a safe manner.Responsibilities:Connect and set-up Astro Pak equipment to customer’s systems to execute chemical cleaning processLoad/Unload Astro Pak vehicle with proper equipment/chemicals for specific job assignmentWorks with various chemicals including but not limited to citric, caustic and other hazardous chemicalsProper calculation, installation, and operation of Astro Pak equipmentQualifications:Ability to travel land and/or air overnight over 80%High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred, but not requiredValid class “C” driver’s license and an acceptable driving record requiredAble to obtain a valid Medical DOT CertificateHAZWOPER, OSHA, Confined Space Certifications are preferredAbility to operate and lift weight-bearing equipment that can weigh up to 50 poundsAbility to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and/or respiratory for different chemical processes as necessaryBenefits:Astro Pak provides medical, dental, and vision plans, 401k plans, flexible spending, family leave, training, paid time off, travel pay, and per diems and competitive salaries with overtime opportunities.$3,000 sign on bonusCompany Background:Astro Pak is the nation's leading precision cleaning and passivation contractor specializing in the cleaning of high-purity gas and fluid systems.
