Field Technician

Job DescriptionRole description:Overview: Field Engineering Technician/Technologist to support field work related to flow monitoring, water quality sampling, well monitoring, and remediation work. The position will support engineering activities. This can be an entry level position, but more experienced applicants will be strongly considered.Role accountabilities:Installation and removal of equipmentConfined space entry as well as working at heights, physical field work involvedSupporting existing field team in a range of field activities including the review and preparation of field dataQualificationsQualifications & Experience:1 to 3 years of experienceDriver's license in good standingBachelor's degree/technician or technologist diplomaAble to work with typical software tools (MS Office Suite) Safety training an asset (first aid, CPR, confined space, traffic control, working at heights)Previous work experience with flow monitoring and sampling equipment in storm and sanitary sewer systems, river/pond monitoring, site remediation, or water/wastewater treatment and assetAdditional Experience:3+ years of experience in the role and industry are highly preferredAdditional Information
