POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing on-site repairs, maintenance, installations, conversions and removals of Ainsworth products and associated equipment in casinos within the Americas territory.
Reports To: Field Service Manager
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide telephone and/or on-site support to customers as needed.
- Performs all on-site service functions (installations, conversions, removals, service calls, etc.) on Ainsworth games and associated equipment within assigned territory.
- Reviews work orders and related manuals and schematic diagrams to determine tasks to be performed and tools, equipment, and parts needed for installation or repair assignment.
- Performs preventative maintenance, installations, and upgrades on Ainsworth Class III products.
- Demonstrates excellent technical and troubleshooting skills to consistently achieve resolution and satisfaction.
- Follow documentation, policies and procedures and perform tasks with minimal supervision.
- Completes and submits timely and accurate service tickets to facilitate issue tracking and invoicing.
- Maintains a positive image of Ainsworth within the industry by providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers.
- Escalates issues that cannot be directly resolved to service management for prompt resolution.
- Ensures all tools and equipment used are kept in proper, safe, and working condition.
- Maintains current knowledge of all Ainsworth game platforms.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 or more years of electronics, repair, field, or related industry experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:
- Must be at least 21 years of , maintain a valid driver’s license, and be able to obtain and maintain gaming licenses as required.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis for short distances.
- Knowledge of tools and experience using the tools is required.
- Ability, flexibility, and willingness to work varied shifts, overtime, and travel to client sites as needed.
- Ability to follow policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of PC operation, and security risks relating to PC operation.
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).
- Must be able to adapt to various jurisdictions and interface with gaming and/or compliance agents.
