Finance Analyst -Project and Reporting
Job Description
We are looking for a Finance Analyst – Projects & Reporting to join our dynamic Commercial Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, or ACA) and wants to gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, reporting, and project work.\n\nReporting to the Finance Business Partner, you will play a key role in supporting financial planning, driving change projects, and producing insightful reports to aid decision-making. Working closely with finance leaders and operational teams, you will help ensure accurate reporting, financial governance, and process improvements.\n\nAs Finance Analyst -Project and Reporting, you’ll be:\n\n * Assisting in the preparation of monthly reports, including variance analysis and performance insights.\n\n * Developing and maintaining financial reporting packs to track key performance indicators (KPIs).\n\n * Supporting month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure accurate reporting.\n\n * Providing analytical and reporting support to the annual pricing process.\n\n * Supporting forecasting and budgeting processes, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.\n\n * Assisting in forecasting and budgeting, identifying risks and opportunities.\n\n * Improving financial reporting processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.\n\n * Ensuring compliance with financial policies, contracts, and internal controls.\n\n * Supporting business projects and process improvements through financial analysis.\n\nAs Finance Analyst -Project and Reporting, you’ll have:\n\n * Part-qualified in a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with a commitment to completing qualification.\n\n * Experience in financial analysis, reporting, or management accounting, ideally within the facilities management or services industry.\n\n * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\n\n * Proficient in Excel (experience with financial systems is an advantage).\n\n * Great communication skills – able to explain financial data to non-finance colleagues.\n\n * A proactive mindset – able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.\n\nWhat we offer you\n\nThe opportunity to be part of one of the fastest growing specialist FM providers in the UK.
