St. Louis, Mo., centrally located, Registered Investment Advisor, is looking for highly motivated, entrepreneurial , self starter , resourceful and mature candidate for the position of Financial Planner . This is an entry level position with opportunities to advance to the position of Investment Advisor Representative , successfully leading to Junior Partner which includes equity ownership in the firm . This is not a direct sales position although client retention and client acquisition is rewarded .
Salary plus bonus , based on experience . Benefits are customized and optimized based on desire and need
Responsibilities and Duties
Work closely with Investment Advisor Representative and Client Service Manager in a Para Planner role including direct client contact
Responsibilities include:
· primary point of contact for all client inquires
· Maintain a professional image and superior client service attitude
· Ensure and maintain compliance with industry standards to retain all client records and documentation by using a variety of internal systems, Excel, Outlook, and Client Relation Management System
· Serves as primary point of contact with third party vendors and work to maintain all dealings with those vendors
· Manage client billing and audit systems • Prepare financial planning documents and consolidates all client presentation materials including modifying portfolio management software to meet the specific criteria of each individual client
· Maintains and keeps company website up-to-date and any other internal systems
· Coordinates client events and functions
· Follows-up on client interactions
· Handles and resolves client requests within a timely manner
· Explains and trains clients on how to utilize all company tools
· Assists in the process to on board new clients including all paperwork, implementation, and follow-up
· Adheres to the strictest of confidentiality standards in all client and firm dealings· Participate in ongoing professional education track including continuing education for CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation
Expectation of Candidate Hired:
CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in good standing .
High ethical standards including no FINRA disclosures or compliance transgressions
Superior financial planning knowledge including general understanding of finance/accounting or general business, superior speaking, writing and technical skills. The mature individual should be a self-starter and able to work independently without constant contact with others. The candidate should be task oriented and with a strong ability to multi-task.
Requirements:
· The candidate should be able to start training immediately on part /full time basis matriculating to a full-time position after being successfully trained in 30-60 days.
· Recent or existing Bachelor Degree in Finance, or Business Major.; will consider Bachelor of Arts.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook.
· Excellent communication skills that leads to building a professional service relationship with clients.
· Ability to organize and administer information and follow through with details.
