Position Overview:

As the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the university's financial planning and analysis activities. You will work closely with senior leadership, providing valuable insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the financial sustainability and growth of our institution.

Key Responsibilities:

• To build an effective and efficient financial planning and budgeting services for the university managing monthly, interim and annual reporting, budgeting and forecasting and to support the provision of management information.
• To manage cash flow forecasting working with fees and income team
• Provide high-quality strategic financial information with reliable forecasts
• Conduct short, medium and long-term planning for the school with detailed scenario analysis and financial modelling
• Conduct financial viability and sustainability report
• Provide detailed risk analysis on both short and long-term basis

Qualifications:

• ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
• Experience in an FP&A role in a large organisation
• Higher education experience (preferable)
• Excellent communication skills
• A high degree of computer literacy and Microsoft Office and advanced Microsoft Excel
• The ability to use statistics and database management
• Must be immediately available
