Fleet Automotive Technician

AAA Northern New England is hiring for a Fleet Automotive Technician in Scarborough, ME!

• Perform Preventative Maintenance and repairs on fleet vehicles.    

• Assist Fleet Supervisor, Manager, or drivers in the delivery and pickup of fleet vehicles from outside vendors. 

• Coordinate and maintain parts inventory for Maine Fleet, including capturing a monthly inventory.     

• Maintain a clean, safe shop and work environment.

• Perform ERS calls as need when determined by Fleet Manager, Fleet Supervisor, or Automotive Managing Director.        

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required. 

• Experience in maintaining a fleet of diesel and gasoline powered medium duty trucks. 

• Work will include but not be limited to: oil changes, brake jobs, R&R clutches, electrical system repairs, cooling system repairs, hydraulic system repairs, and tune-ups on gasoline powered vehicles. 

• Experience on hydraulic systems, ASE Certified, towing experience is a plus, basic welding and auto body experience are a plus.

Safe Business Driving Requirements 

• Possess a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record

• Provide proof of automobile liability insurance at time of hire
