Our client is a prominent transportation company dedicated to providing seamless and efficient fleet operations, ensuring that all vehicles are safe, well-maintained, and ready to meet operational demands.What We Offer:Competitive salary with comprehensive health benefitsOpportunities for professional development and career growthSupportive work environment with a focus on safety, efficiency, and teamworkWhat You’ll Do:Lead a team of Maintenance Supervisors across various terminals, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environmentEnsure regular service schedules and preventive maintenance protocols are followed to maintain fleet readinessOversee the performance and efficiency of internal repair shops, ensuring work meets quality and compliance standardsCoordinate with external vendors and manage relationships for timely, cost-effective repairs and parts procurementConduct regular audits of fleet maintenance records and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulationsImplement and improve fleet maintenance programs to enhance vehicle longevity and performanceMonitor and control maintenance costs, working within budget to optimize repair and maintenance expensesWhat We’re Looking For:Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Minimum of 5 years of experience in fleet maintenance management or a similar role, with strong leadership and supervisory experienceExtensive knowledge of fleet maintenance procedures, equipment management, and safety standardsProficiency in maintenance software and MS Office; knowledge of fleet tracking software is an assetStrong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills, with attention to detail and quality standardsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and vendorsExperience in a unionized environment is preferredValid driver’s license with a clean driving recordOur team is excited to connect with candidates who meet the job requirements.
