Flex Project Manager
Overview: William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is in search of a Project Manager to support our traffic & transportation group. The Project Manager will be responsible for managing construction projects from pre-construction to completion, while ensuring the project remains on schedule and within budget.

MasTec’s Clean Energy and Infrastructure Group (CE&I) is a $4 billion annual revenue business unit that provides construction services for industrial facilities; building products manufacturers, power facilities, manufacturing plants; solar, wind, and thermal energy plants; Financial monitoring and reporting including cost monitoring, cost and revenue projections, change order logs, under/overbilling reports, invoicing, vendor and subcontractor invoicing review and approval
Work with project superintendents to applicable equipment types, personnel skill sets, means, methods, and schedule as required
Manage and update receiving and yield reports
Estimating review to understand strategies, risks, and opportunities
Pre-construction planning with project team
Sub-contractor scope and schedule review
Project documentation including submittals, RFI’s, meeting minutes, work plans
Project closeout including final documentation, invoicing, retainage release
Building relationships in local marketplaces
Interaction with project team, business leaders, and management
High School diploma or equivalent required (Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field )
At least 5 years industry experience, overseeing multiple projects simultaneously
A combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
5+ years of experience working on traffic electrical infrastructure projects
~ Proficient in Computer applications such as Microsoft and time reporting systems
~ Some travel may be required
