Flight Controls is currently considered a critical skill area, with a high demand for expertise in certification/safety, system-level verification testing, and DO-254 (AEH) compliance activities.
qualifications include experience with Flight Controls Systems fault tree analysis. They’re looking for engineers familiar with CAFTA to finalize and review supplier fault trees and integrate them with Boeing fault trees. General safety analysis experience and a solid understanding of Flight Controls System Architecture are also valued.
Boeing is seeking a range of flight controls experience, from functional decomposition and integration to control law updates. Some engineers will also support qualification report review and related to qualification testing conducted by Boeing.
Additionally, they need Flight Controls Engineers for lab hardware/software-in-the-loop testing for the 777-9. Expertise in lab testing, or the ability to quickly become proficient with Flight Controls lab tools and processes, would be beneficial.
