Flight Operations Engineer - Weight & Balance

Job Description: SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Flight Operations Engineer position is part of the flight operations support team. This position reports directly to the Head of Flight Operations Group. He/She works in close cooperation with the Airbus Flight Operations Support & Training Standards department (STL) in updating flight operations manuals (WBM) and answering to customer (Airlines) queries on flight operations matter. The deliverables (flight operations manuals, flight operations technical answers and related supports) are provided worldwide to the customers for all Airbus aircraft programs.Duties & ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for flight operations support activities including, but not limited to:Operational standards: Author relevant flight operations manuals according to the Flight Operational Standards defined by STLUpdate relevant flight operations manuals according to aircraft definition, operational feedbacks and requests from the customers, authorities/agencies or internalsManage aircraft configuration to ensure coverage of individual aircraft definition in relevant flight operations manualsOperational support to customers:Answer to customer queries on flight operations matter upon STL requestsEnsure that all flight operations concerns and needs raised by the customers are well assessed and addressed within the defined time scaleCORE JOB Requirement:Bachelor degree in aeronautical engineering2 to 5 years of experience in Weight and Balance Engineering2 to 5 years of experience in Load Control systemAdvanced level of communication skills in EnglishGeneral knowledge of aircraft systemsSturdy knowledge of IT tools and particularly in the authoring of structured documentation in XMLFamiliar with an international and multifunctional environmentAbility to organize and manage multiple prioritiesGood customer service mindsetGood team playerThis job requires an awareness of any potential compliance risks and a commitment to act with integrity, as the foundation for the Company’s success, reputation and sustainable growth.Company:Airbus Flight Operations Services LimitedEmployment Type:Permanent-------Experience Level:ProfessionalJob Family:Customer Flight/Mission & Ops Support
