This is your chance to be at the forefront of space exploration and contribute to a cleaner, safer future for our planet.\n\n Key Responsibilities for the Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer:\n\nConduct rigorous flight software verification, validation, and integration to ensure flawless performance.\nDevelop, maintain, and implement comprehensive plans for thorough flight software testing.\nSet up and manage diverse testing platforms to rigorously evaluate software functionality.\nSupport all testing phases, including non-functional and automated regression testing, to identify and address potential issues.\nFind and implement the best test equipment and techniques to maximize flight software testing effectiveness.\nCo-ordinate with other teams at sub-system and system level to identify test and integration needs.\nActively participate in mission system test and simulation campaigns.\nFacilitate knowledge transfer within the business, sharing your expertise and contributing to projects across the organization.Key Skills & Experience required by the Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer:\n\nPossess a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a relevant engineering/science discipline.\n2+ years of experience in developing real-time embedded systems using C/C++.\nDemonstrate 2-3 years of experience in verifying and validating real-time systems.\nHave a proven record of creating test scripts and automated tests, with knowledge of scripting .\nPossess solid understanding of software development methodologies and embedded software engineering.\nExperience in implementing real-time systems and software.\nHave experience in effectively executing test plans.\nExperience with Python programming is advantageous. \n Company Benefits:\n\nCompetitive base salary\nOpportunity to work with a highly talented international team working on cutting edge technology\nFlexible working around core hours\nHybrid working available (dependent on individual role requirements)\n9-day working fortnight\n25 days holiday (increasing yearly up to a maximum of 28 days) + 8 days Bank Holiday\nLife insurance and long-term sick pay\nPrivate healthcare (taxable benefit)\nIf your skills and experience match this Flight Software Verification & Validation Engineer opportunity, we encourage you to apply now
