FLT Driver/ Warehouse Operative

Job Description

Major Recruitment are searching for an FLT driver/ Warehouse Operative for our client based near Oldham. This vacancy is a 3 month contract with the potential to go permanent. A valid Counterbalance and Reach FLT Licence from an accredited body is ESSENTIAL.

Duties include:

\n

\n
• Check accuracy of delivery lines

\n

• Locate materials into Good in

\n

• Check and confirm materials against purchase order, highlighting discrepancies

\n

• Attend and contribute to daily stores meeting

\n

• Pick and issue materials as detailed on parts list

\n

• Complete relevant documentation and records to track parts and inventory

\n

• Other general warehousing duties

\n

\n

Hours of work and pay rate:

\n

\n
• Monday to Friday on a 2-shift rotation, 36 hours per week

\n

• Monday to Thursday - 6am till 2pm/ 2pm till 10pm

\n

• Friday - 6am till 12pm/ 12pm till 6pm

\n

• £15.17 per hour, this includes shift allowance

\n

\n

Successful candidates must have:

\n

\n
• Valid Reach and Counterbalance Licence from an accredited body, not in-house

\n

• 5 years' experience working in a warehouse environment

\n

• A can-do attitude and excellent attention to detail

\n

\n
