We are Looking for a 1st and 2nd shift Food Production Supervisor
$23 hourly
Job description:
- The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production team members working in a fast-paced and safe environment
- Supervisor must ensure employees are inspecting, cutting, washing and packaging products properly according to company procedures and standards
- This position reports to the Operations Manager
- Direct, coordinate and plan facility daily activities to ensure production goals are met in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner
- Ensure standards of product quality, allergens, equipment and performance are maintained in order to maximize production
- Make recommendations to upper management about service/purchase of equipment as needed
- Work together with Plant supervisors and leads to maintain a positive and respectful work environment
- Take corrective action as necessary in a timely manner in accordance with company policy
- Assist in external auditing SQF-Safe Quality Food requirements including various customer / 3rd party audit expectations
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of prior experience working in Food Manufacturing industry
- Knowledge of FDA, USDA Food and safety regulations and labeling knowledge
- Excellent Organizational skills
- Ability to work in cold environment (32-37°ree;F)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
