FTI Contract Manager
Earthstream are currently looking for a FTI Contract Manager to assist an Offshore windfarm project. You will be part of the Foundation T&I Package Teams and reporting to the assigned FTI Package Manager. You will be accountable for identifying and mitigating contractual and commercial risks while seeking to optimize and drive the performance of the Foundation Transport & installation
Key Tasks (but not limited to):
- Management and coordination of the FT&I Contract within the package to achieve all the following objectives.
- Making commercial recommendations to the Package Manager on commercial issues and risks arising in the FT&I contract.
- To develop adequately balanced risk profiles within the FTI package through contract strategy and ongoing contract management.
- Implement the necessary processes and procedures required to develop the FT&I contract.
- Managing and administering the FT&I contract in place with the Contractor, including but not limited to claims, variations and contract amendments and co-ordinating with the dedicated EPCI Contract Manager.
- Supporting the Package Manager in preparing communications and commercial drafting on claims, variations and any correspondence required under the Contract.
- Monitoring and anticipating claims made by the contractor under the agreement and assisting in developing mitigation strategies in line with the terms.
Requirements (but not limited to):
- A degree and professional qualification in relevant engineering disciplines or commercially orientated qualification.
- Experience as project manager, project engineer or contract manager, within renewables or offshore subsea sector, for a minimum of 10 years.
- Experience in contract management, within offshore business preferably in the supply and installation of foundations associated with offshore WTG operations, for a minimum of 5 years.
- The ability to manage your own performance, with a significant focus on delivery and an ability to balance a varied and challenging workload, while producing high-quality results in demanding timeframes.
- Fluent in English, both verbally and written.
- A good understanding of wind farm construction activities and the contractual implications.
