Eastern is a nonprofit partner of the Park Service (NPS), operating stores at over 175 park sites. But we’re more than a retailer. We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Customer Service Specialist to join our warehouse team. As a Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our warehouse operations by handling customer inquiries, processing orders, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This position is dynamic and requires a strong ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers, resolving inquiries and issues promptly.
- Efficiently process orders, including picking, packing, and shipping within specified timelines.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the warehouse management team to enhance customer satisfaction and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Assist with passport cancellation stamper orders, customer returns, and inventory management.
- Contribute to a clean and organized work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or call center environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Qualifications:
- Experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment
- Knowledge of e-commerce platforms
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Ability to stand for extended periods
