Game Artist (2D / 3D) - Hybrid

Job Description

We are now seeking a Game Artist (2D / 3D) to join our game development force. The success candidate who, in addition to being amazing engineers, also enjoy working in a start-up environment and is willing to share game ideas, participate in recruiting, multi-stack programming, and making decisions. For this job, the package we offer includes a competitive salary, depending on your skills/knowledge. We prefer someone who is based in the UK but it can also be a remote role if the candidate fits the position.

Key Responsibilities

• Design concept for characters and environments which fit the style of the game.

\n

• Create 3D models based on concepts.

\n

• Create illustration artwork based on concepts.

\n

• Create particles in Unity and other game engines.

\n

Key requirements

\n

\n
• Have passion on games and want to become one of the best game makers in the industry.

\n

• Strong 2D illustrations and game UI design

\n

• Understanding of optimisation for mobile platforms

\n

• Working knowledge of Unity

\n

• Capable to create high-quality and performance particles on Unity and other game engines.

\n

• Experience in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and any of the animation tools (Flash, After Effects, or similar).

\n

• Experience in 3D Max, Maya, Blender and Zbrush (bonus)

\n

• Both low and high poly modelling, rigging and animating of in-game 3D assets (bonus)

\n

• You’ll be working in a great, small close-knit team, you’ll need to be able to work with little supervision
