General Counsel - Solar/BESS - up to £150k
Piper Maddox are exclusively representing one of the UKs front running developers in onboarding their General Counsel to drive forward legal activities both internally and externally for their company.
You'd be comin in to spearhead this function and work alongside an extremely talented team within the sector. You'd be working closely with the Managing Director to set up their internal legal structure.
This role would give you direct progression to the highest legal level in the company, with scope to build out a team and work on some of the most well-known projects in the industry. They also boast a high staff retention rate, lovely working facilities, and dedicated working culture. You'll always be surrounded by motivated and positive professionals!
What would your role look like but not be limited to?:
-Dealing with dispute resolution.
-Handling employment matters.
-Dealing with commercial contracts and corporate acquisitions.
-Helping the company to secure land rights for options and securing easements.
-Working with the MD to create legal templates, managing processes for external lawyers, and processes which aid smooth development processes.
-Integrating legal and development.
-Dealing with any sales within the business.
-Managing external law firms.
This role would require energy experience, and would happily consider people from a private practice law firm working with developers in the space.
