General Maintenance Mechanic

Job DescriptionJob Description

We are a cabinet manufacturing company seeking a good candidate to maintain and service mostly woodworking equipment as well as general building upkeep. No specific certifications are required. We are looking for someone mechanically inclined with good problem solving skills and reliability to keep equipment running at peak performance. This individual would also be tasked with assisting in material handling/receiving as needed aside from maintenance duties.

Responsibilities:

• Regularly Scheduled Machine Maintenance
  • Maintenance varies by machine, but tasks include;
    • checking belts
    • checking/adding grease or oil
    • general cleanup
    • Cutter/tool replacements
    • Checking calibration
• Diagnose/repair machines as needed (some machines will require manufacturer technical support)
• General building maintenance
  • Minor repairs as needed
  • Cleanup as needed
• Material handling/receiving (as needed)

Skills Required

• Good Communication Skills
• Forklift Experience
