Generator Mechanic/Auto Mechanic

Job Description:

Proficient in troubleshooting and repair of generators (mostly residential and some commercial). Great customer service and communication skills with internal staff and especially when interacting with company clientele. Prepare accurate estimates after diagnosing & troubleshooting for potential repairs. Responsible for completing and uploading service reports into company CRM. Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Job Qualifications:

-Looking for skilled Auto Mechanic/Minimum of 5 years experience, or a Generator Technician/Minimum of 2 years experience working in residential and commercial maintenance and repair.

- Familiar with Generac, Kohler, Cummins, or Briggs and Stratton Generators.

- Skilled & Master Generator Repair Tech with the ability to accurately troubleshoot diagnose and repair generators of various sizes (16kw to 200KW)

- Work closely with Maintenance, Production & Sales Departments

- On the spot problem solving.

- Prior military and/or trade school experience is a plus

- Excellent Customer Service & Communication Skills.

- Willing to attend training schools provided by manufacturers.

- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
