Geo Environmental Engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join an industry leading contractor as a Geo-Environmental Engineer. This is an excellent role for an experienced professional looking to further their career in land remediation and environmental engineering, working across a range of innovative and impactful projects.
Key Responsibilities

Undertake on-site chemical and geotechnical sampling, laboratory scheduling, and results interpretation
*
Conduct site investigation works, including geotechnical logging to British Standards
*
Assist with the technical review of tender documentation and evaluation of chemical and geotechnical data
*
Implement and manage environmental monitoring on sites (noise, odour, vibration, and dust assessments)
*
Produce factual geo-environmental and verification reports
*
Carry out geotechnical analysis and testing both on-site and in our in-house laboratory
*
Liaise with client teams and project delivery personnel
*
Classify waste in accordance with relevant industry standards and guidance
Qualifications and Experience
*
BSc (or higher) in Geology, Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Science or a related discipline
*
4–5 years' experience in the ground remediation and/or land contamination sector
*
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
*
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*
Competent in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel and Word)
*
Strong time management and organisational skills
*
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*
Willingness to travel and work away from home when required
*
Full UK driving licence
*
CSCS card
