Geotechnical Consultant (Offshore Windfarms)



MillTech has a unique position with their client in the Energy and Water sector.



The company are one of the leaders in environmental studies and modelling, including EIA, SEA, HRA, marine studies, and coastal and water quality monitoring.



You will be joining the Geotechnical team working on the support for delivery of subsea cable and offshore renewables projects. This will include subsea survey, cable installation, planning and design, risk assessment and project management.



To succeed in this position we are seeking a Geotechnical Consultant with the following skills and background:



* Proven background in offshore hydrographic, geophysical and/or geotechnical survey industry or alternatively experience in the design and installation of subsea infrastructure



* Strong technical understanding of GIS, CAD and processing & software packages such as SSS, MAG and SBP



* Knowledge of Offshore Renewable Energy, Pipeline or Cable projects



* Able to work on large-scale data processing, interpretation, and visualisation



* Degree educated
