The Role:
✔ Undertake geotechnical engineering for SURF (Subsea Umbilicals, Risers, and Flowlines) scopes
✔ Evaluate and interpret offshore site investigation data
✔ Design and install various subsea foundations (gravity-based, piled, suction-installed)
✔ Assess geotechnical risks and geo-hazards
✔ Support offshore assignments, including site investigations and mechanical protection operations
Who Are We Looking For?
Degree in Geotechnical Engineering (Civil Engineering, Geoscience, or Geology with a geotechnical focus)
Experience in Oil & Gas, ideally with a subsea background
Working knowledge of offshore site investigations, foundation design, and product-soil interaction
Commercially aware, analytical, and solutions-oriented
Ability to travel offshore if required
Key Details:
Location: Aberdeen (no remote working)
Engagement: Open to permanent staff or Ltd contractors
Work Pattern:
• Staff – 4 days/week in office
• Contract – 3 days/week in office (some flexibility possible)
