Geotechnical Instrumentation Engineer (Assistant to Senior)
Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate for geotechnical instrumentation projects, attend the project meeting, schedule control, permits for on-site installation, setting up and commissioning of monitoring. Drafts engineering documents for Authorities’ submission. On-site installation and hands-on monitoring of sensor, instruments and equipment. Ensure full commission of system, with regular monitoring regime Adheres to ISO quality requirements in the execution of works. Instructs, supervises, manages and monitors the supervisor/inferiors in the course of work. Monitoring data processing, review and analyst, with report submission to client. Requirements: · Degree in Civil / Geotechnical / Instrumentation Engineering. · Keen interest in geotechnical instrumentation, 5/10 years similar experience is an advantage. · Computer literate and good hand-on experience on applications such as AutoCAD drafting, Microsoft Office etc. · Ability to meet deadlines and highly committed team player. · Positive attitudes and drive for results. · Able to start work immediately or on short notice. · Class 3 driving license for an advantage. Data processor in Geotechnical Instrumentation & Monitoring (Entry to Senior) Responsibilities: Assist Instrumentation Engineer in daily data entry, processing via software, report preparation and submission. Documentation and filing of hardcopies record. Preparation of daily, weekly and monthly data report. Proper maintenance of database, and computer backup. Coordinated among colleagues to ensure data are available and to validate error data. Requirements: · Minimum “O” level qualification or equivalent, fresh graduates are welcome to apply. · A keen interest in data processing and committed to deadlines. · Able to start work immediately or on short notice. · Must be able to work independently; and good in computer handling. · Well proficient in MS Office & good in computer handing. · Experience with AutoCAD; MicroStation or MS Project 2007 Software is an advantage. · Only Singaporean/ Singapore PR/ Malaysian preferred. Geologist (Geotechnical Field Engineer, Assistant to Senior) Responsibilities: Be Involved in project plan, coordination, operation for soil investigation works. Attend the project meeting if required. Day-to-day site operation to ensure works are constructed as per project & safety requirement. Identify the soil/rock & record the field log. Take the soil sample for lab test. Supervise site works. Liaise with clients on site works / projects. Plan and arrange the Logistics. Requirements: · Degree in Geology/Geophysics/Civil Engineering or equivalent. · 2 years relevant working experience in Soil Investigation and in laboratory soil testing is an advantage. · Must be able to work independently. · Good communication and interpersonal skills. · MUST possess Class 3 driving licence. · Hardworking, adaptable to changes, able to multitask · Able to start work immediately or on short notice. · Class 3 driver license is an advantage.
