NOVA Engineering has an exciting opportunity for a Geotechnical Project Engineer (PE) to join our Pensacola, FL team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage geotechnical engineering projects from inception to completion
- Review and approve technical reports for geotechnical engineering projects, ensuring they meet client and regulatory requirements
- Provide expert guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop project scopes, budgets, and schedules
- Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations
- Participate in business development activities, including proposal preparation and client presentations
Qualifications:
- BS in Civil Engineering is required
- Professional Engineer (P.E.) is required
- 5 - 10 years geotechnical engineering experience is required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent project management skills and leadership ability
