Global Real Estate Project Management Platform and Training Head, VP

Job Description The Project Management Platform and Training VP will be responsible for leading the management, administration, maintenance, operation and creation of an aligned project management platform as well as, providing user administration, support and training with 1,500 + users and an integrated vendor interface. This role requires a strong background in real estate, construction, project controls and working knowledge of key project management concepts and working knowledge and experience of project management systems. With alignment to the RE Design & Construction Group the opportunity will support activities required by championing document and process standards during Capital Improvement and ongoing Facilities Management (FM) and Security projects. Responsibilities The methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of all or part of business functions or processes Defining of requirements for improving any aspect of the processes and systems and quantification of potential business benefits Creation of viable specifications and acceptance criteria in preparation for the system, process or reporting enhancements Documenting procedures in conjunction with the PMO and training guidance on business processes Investigate, create, prepare, and edit report requirements Oversee the development of the project management platform including business and user requirements, prioritizing resources, and planning effective rollout of new features. Oversee operations of the project management platform, including but not limited to, system administration, user support, and ensuring meeting of business and user needs. Assuring the data quality for use in management and project reporting and data analytics, including that data is accurate, timely, and complete. Ensuring the ongoing automation and embedding of systemic controls. Developing the strategy for effective and efficient use of internal and external resources to support project management platform. Owning the User Experience for the project management platform and ensuring effective training and communications in place. Leading and driving the effectiveness of a super user network within different regions and functions to decentralize 1st level of support. Liaise with technology partners to ensure alignment of technical strategy, technical assurance, and integrations. Build quality assurance and data protection processes. Monitor KPIs to assess technological performance and own action plans to improve. Use business, user and stakeholder feedback to inform necessary improvements and adjustments to technology Input into the development of reporting and dashboards Manages a team of invoicing and payment specialists, developing talent to ensure effective communication, prompt issue resolution and on time payments from project management platform to SAP while delivering a best in class support model. Serve as SME for Invoice Payment process with deep understanding of accounting, tax and SAP upload process. Oversee and approve the daily reconciliation of the SAP Payment Data upload, and solution any issues. Capabilities: Required Proven experience as a technology implementation lead, or similar leadership role Experience implementing new platforms into businesses while ensuring in-flight projects are not interrupted Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Leadership and organizational abilities Problem-solving aptitude Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy Ability to manage competing priorities and complex stakeholder environment Ability to work with other functions to ensure effective integrations Ability to conduct technological analyses and research Strategic thinking BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field Experience and knowledge in project management and project controls Not essential but desirable PMWeb experience Understanding of budgets and business planning, project accounting Experiencing delivering technology solutions for the construction sector MBA, Masters in Technology Management, or other relevant graduate degree
