Global Sustainability Engineering Specialist

Talent Solutions, part of Manpower Group, for an important pharmaceutical client based in Florence, is currently recruiting for aGlobal Sustainability Engineering Specialist The Global Engineering, Asset Management and Strategic Projects Direction focuses, among other tasks, on integrating sustainable practices and innovations across the organization’s operations, products, and services.Within this Direction the Global Real Estate, Physical Security, Facility and Energy Management Departmenthas the mission to contribute to enhancing the Group ESG Reporting and Planning (concerning Organization Carbon Foot Print, Decarbonization Plan & Targets) and support the Group in the delivery of Technical Operations projects (concerning Engineering) across its Business Units, Geographical Regions, Functions and Sites and to advance the company’s commitment to environmental stewardship, compliance with global sustainability standards, and leadership in sustainable technology and engineering solutions.This role is located within the Global Real Estate, Physical Security, Facility and Energy Management Department (which is within the Global Engineering Department) and reports directly to the Global Energy Manager. It involves regular collaboration with regional engineering managers and cross-functional sustainability teams. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSustainability Reporting activities: Annually manages the "Stakeholder Engagement process" for Technical Operations (Engineering) data collection process; Ensures consistent ESG data collection and system set-up across Geographical Regions and BUs; Proactively participates in the drafting of the Group's Sustainability Report providing technical and methodological support; Support the Technical Operations in the external assurance process of non-financial reporting, ensuring corporate reporting is accurate for the Engineering Department. Multi Year Plan (Primary and Supplementary Actions): Collaborate with the internal and external stakeholders to achieve the Primary Actions (Organization Carbon Footprint, Emission reduction actions Scope 1-2-3, SBTi Targets) of the Group; Monitors TechOps ESG performance against KPIs reporting results to management and completing necessary disclosures; Support the coordination of the Global Technical Operations Team with the local ISO 50001 energy teams/engineering departments; Support the Local Technical Operation Teams regarding ESG topics through trainings, interviews, meetings. In this role, the Global Sustainability Engineering Specialist will support the internal team within the Global Real Estate, Physical Security, Facility, and Energy Management division, reporting directly to the Global Energy Manager. The Specialist will liaise closely with the Group’s Global Sustainability Team, as well as with local organizations across various facilities. Within these facilities, the Engineering Divisions will serve as the primary points of reference.This structure ensures seamless integration of sustainability initiatives across global and local levels, fostering collaboration to achieve the company’s energy efficiency and environmental goals. JOB REQUIREMENTS Degree in Engineering and/or holding a sustainability-related master's course 3 - 5 Years of experience in a similar role in structured international companies and/or consulting firm; data management, analysis and validation together with project management skills are strongly required. A good knowledge of the most important Microsoft suite tools (excel, powerpoint, etc…) Fluency in English, both written and spoken. The candidates should be dynamic, enthusiastic and have a proactive approach. The candidate should have ability to share the main objectives and progress of the projects through effective schematizations and presentations to all the main interested parties and to the management. Expected travel: 20%. Degree in Engineering; 3/5 Years experience in similar role; Fluency in English
