Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development - Austin, TX

Halff is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our Land Development team in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering Degree, and knowledge in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design. Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development Responsibilities:

Design civil engineering projects under the direct supervision of a Professional Engineer

Assist in the preparation of plans, specifications, and cost estimates for public works and land development projects

Assist with drafting CAD work

Perform calculations and analysis for design projects

Assist in the preparation of permit applications and other regulatory documents

Coordinate with other team members, including surveyors, architects, and contractors

Attend meetings with clients and regulatory agencies

Graduate Civil Engineer - Land Development/Public Works Requirements:

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Civil Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree (New graduates encouraged to apply)

0 – 3 years of experience in public works and/or land development design, including roadway, utility, and drainage design

Actively obtaining Engineering-in-Training (EIT) certification

Experience with AutoCAD is

Experience with Civil 3D is a plus

Strong communication skills

Solid relationship and team building skills

Self-motivated and strong organization skills
