Graduate Engineer – Technical Sales

Monday - Thursday: 8am -4pm & Friday: 8am  - 2pm (occasional flexibility as required)

£25,000 - £28,000 per annum

People Solutions are looking for a Graduate Engineer with an interest in Technical Sales to work for our client based in Walsall.

Day-to-Day Duties:

• Gain in-depth product and industry knowledge, learning directly from experienced professionals
• Work with clients to understand their engineering challenges and offer tailored technical solutions
• Use your engineering background to provide expert advice and support to customers
• Be involved in site visits and client meetings, travelling within a 20-mile radius of the office
• Play a key role in promoting the company’s solutions and driving business growth

Essential Skills:

• A degree in any engineering discipline
• A genuine interest in technical sales and customer-facing roles
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts clearly
• A proactive and motivated individual eager to learn and grow within the business

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of CAD and CNC machining
• Previous experience in a customer-facing or sales role
• An understanding of engineering components and manufacturing processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Training:

• Full training and mentor-ship provided by experienced engineers and sales professionals
