Graduate MEP Engineer\nHybrid in WC1 Office\nStart 1st May 2025\nPermanent\n\n1st Step Solutions are supporting successful multi-disciplinary building and MEP services consultancy business who are looking to expand their team with a Graduate MEP Surveyor / Engineer. \n\nResponsibilities: \n* Surveys for PMP and Capex planning\n* Surveys for asset I.D and PPM programme production\n* Strategy advice on retrofit feasibility (Carbon Zero Initiative)\n* Consulting advice on PPM contractor appointment\n* HVAC systems design \n* Gas Safe heating advice and compliance consultancy\n* HIU and Heat pump retrofit feasibility \n* EPC improvement advice and recommendation\n* HV/LV upgrade advice and planning (with UKPN)\n* RIBA stage 4 on all MEP design for installation, upgrade & Redevelopment\n* RIBA stage 5&6 on all MEP quality monitoring of installations\n* HVAC commissioning management\n* CCTV drainage inspections\n* Consulting on vertical transportation systems \n* BMS and controls upgrade specifications\n* MEP Life safety systems advice and consultancy (BSC linked)\n* Security (CCTV) and access control system re-design \n* Fire alarm and AOV system design and PM\n* LED lighting design and PM\n* MEP TDD on pre-purchase and pre-leasing opportunities in commercial and private residential sectors\n* Swimming pool and Spa facilities consultation\n* Legionella prevention advice and water treatment consultation\n\nQualifications/Skills:\n- Engineering degree \n- Experience of working on commercial offices and block residential desirable\n- Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.\n- Good computer skills especially with Microsoft Office.\n- To actively contribute to the team (internal and client team)
