Granite Estimator - 8286

We are seeking an experienced Granite, Marble, Quartz Countertop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in estimating projects within the stone countertop industry. You will be responsible for accurately assessing project requirements, performing take-offs, and preparing detailed mark-ups. This role requires proficiency in relevant software such as VU360, Trimble, or Blue Beam. Key Responsibilities: Accurately estimate project costs for granite, marble, and quartz countertop installations. Perform mark-ups and take-offs from architectural drawings and plans. Utilize relevant software Blue Beam etc. to prepare detailed estimates. Locate material sources, obtain pricing, and confirm material availability and lead times. Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely procurement of materials. Work closely with project managers, clients, and the workshop team to ensure accurate project execution. Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and tools. Participate as a proactive team player, willing to learn and adapt to new challenges. Maintain a high level of professionalism and accuracy in all work. Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating for granite, marble, or quartz countertops. Proficiency in mark-ups, take-offs, and cost estimation. Experience with relevant software such as Blue Beam. Strong understanding of material sourcing, pricing, and lead time management. Locating and negotiating good deals regarding materials with dealers. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy. Ability to work effectively as part of a team Hardworking, with a strong willingness to learn and grow within the company.
