Graphic Designer – Environmental Graphic Design – Base Salary to 45.00/hour – Freeport, NY

• Our client is seeking a creative and talented Graphic Designer to join their dynamic Visual Merchandising team. The Graphic Designer will play a key role in enhancing the visual appeal of our client’s products and spaces, creating captivating designs that resonate with their brand identity. The primary focus of the Graphic Designer role will be on environmental/spatial graphic design. This is an exciting opportunity to bring artistic flair to a fun and vibrant environment with ample room for professional growth.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Visual Merchandising team to understand design requirements and objectives.
• Conceptualize and create visually stunning graphics, signage, and promotional materials for in-store displays and events.
• Develop innovative and on-brand visual solutions that enhance the overall customer experience.
• Stay updated on design trends, retail industry best practices, and competitor strategies to ensure cutting-edge visual merchandising.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Retail Operations, to align design strategies with overall business goals.
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to elevate the brand's visual presence.
• Ensure consistency in design across various channels and platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer, in environmental or spatial graphic design
• Proficient in industry-standard design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, with a focus on retail or visual merchandising work.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and articulate design concepts.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for aesthetics and brand consistency.

Compensation:

• Base salary in the 30.00 – 45.00/hour range, dependent on experience
