Handy Man / Maintenance technician

Job summary We are looking for a versatile individual to join our team as a General Laborer / Maintenance Technician. You will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to maintain and repair various aspects of our facilities, equipment and systems at our 9 McDonald's Gestion Audrey Bernard Inc restaurants located on Montreal's South Shore. If you're handy with tools, enjoy solving problems and can work independently, we want to hear from you! Duties * Perform maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment and machinery * Assist with carpentry, painting and other general construction tasks * Perform minor renovations and installations as required * Perform regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent malfunctions * Work collaboratively with other teams to ensure smooth operations * Keep up to date with new technologies and techniques to stay ahead of the game * Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, air conditioning and other systems (asset) Required * At least 2 years' experience in a similar role (general laborer, maintenance technician, etc.) * Strong construction and problem-solving skills * Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads * Experience with power tools and hand tools (e.g. bill press, circular saw, hammer) * Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively * Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air-conditioning systems (an asset) * Ability to travel easily to our 9 restaurants on Montreal's South Shore.
