Salter Grange is partnering with an innovative international Engineering company specialising in Mission-Critical projects across Europe and beyond recruiting a Head of Commissioning to join a busy Hyperscale division across Mainland Europe with a particular focus on France.

The ideal Head of Commissioning will have a track record in project delivery and extensive knowledge of complex Mechanical and Electrical systems, preferably in Data Centres.

With a full order book for several years, this role offers significant opportunities for a capable Senior Commissioning Manager to contribute to the growth and expansion of the Business Unit.

Head of Commissioning Responsibilities:

• Oversee all commissioning activities on-site, including planning, management, and project closure.

\n

• Manage a team of direct reports.

\n

• Supervise the Commissioning Tagging process and procedures.

\n

• Provide regular progress reports internally and externally.

\n

• Lead weekly commissioning meetings and guide weekly commissioning activities.

\n

• Facilitate daily whiteboard meetings on commissioning.

\n

• Attend weekly commissioning meetings with the Main Contractor and clients, reporting weekly progress.

\n

• Develop the Project commissioning schedule in collaboration with project planners.

\n

• Ensure accurate tracking of the testing and commissioning workforce using site Labor Allocation Tracker sheets, issued daily.

\n

Head of Commissioning Requirements:

\n
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role.

\n

• Relevant technical and Electrical or Mechanical qualifications or industry-recognised qualifications

\n

• Experience working for a reputable MEP contractor or General Contractor

\n
