Head of Engineering

TGRC is excited to have partnered with our client, one of the largest Technical Advisors, headquartered in Asia in search of a Head of Engineering for the Korean team.Responsibilities:Oversee the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality outputs by technical advisory teams.Collaborate with other service sectors and geographical areas as necessary.Achieve revenue targets and identify new business opportunities.Maintain customer relationships with lenders, investors, and developers, ensuring prompt response to opportunities and closing deals with the support team.Adhere to established company methods and procedures, while supporting the development of methods and communities of practice.Lead and oversee high-profile Independent Engineering (IE) and Technical Advisory (TA) projects related to financing, tax equity, sales, and acquisitions of wind (both onshore and offshore) and solar projects and portfolios.Overseeing turbine technology assessments, civil and electrical design evaluations, reviewing commercial and technical contracts, project scheduling, financial model evaluations, CAPEX and OPEX assessments, environmental and permitting reviews, site visits, and construction monitoring.Compile and finalize IE and TA reports with support from the broader engineering team. Summarize key findings, and conclusions, and represent the organization with clients.Foster and maintain positive relationships with clients to ensure repeat business, and support business development staff in acquiring new clients.Manage projects as necessary. Lead or assist in the preparation of proposals detailing the scope of work, team composition, budget, and timeline for completion.Identify project risks, barriers, and issues and propose solutions and mitigation strategies. Ensure timely completion to quality standards.Expectations:Academic background in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering or Construction Management.At least 8+ years of experience in the Wind industry, Offshore Wind experience is a plus.Worked as a project manager for renewables projects and have gained a deep understanding of a typical project development or due diligence process.Excellent interpersonal skills, enjoy and master working in a busy environment, and you are highly motivated.
