Job Description Given the rapid growth in the Ed-tech sector particularly in the last few years, our client intends to segway into its next phase of rapid growth, leveraging new-age technology to stay ahead of the curve and offer differentiated products with world-class delivery. Towards that, they are looking to hire next levels of Leaders. This is not one specific role but an intent to build and define key leadership roles in the Technology area.These are crucial leadership roles that require a future-ready, dynamic Tech professional who is used to a high growth environment and comfortable in a VUCA culture having excellent communication skills. Provide Leadership in technology areas across the three verticals - K-12, Higher Education & Corporate Learning. The role will be responsible to manage teams & budgets across depending on the area and may also be responsible for managing P&L and key strategic clients.• Works collaboratively with all peers to ensure organizational goals are met• Lead and manage the Application Development & Maintenance projects• Lead and manage the Software Development and IT teams to deliver software and architecture that meets the needs of users• Responsible for project delivery on time and to budget.• Responsible for right effort goes into the internal system – Infoweb, and correct revenue recognition takes place• Responsible for reviewing new custom Technology projects to plan and coordinate delivery• Responsible for building positive and productive working relationships with customers• Responsible for managing any scope change and convert this to revenue from the customer• Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting delivery issues in a timely fashion Responsible for the custom Technology team to ensure timely and accurate customer deliveries.• Responsible for overseeing daily activities of delivery team and provide direction and guidance• Responsible to serve as primary contact for customer concerns and to provide solutions• Responsible for analyzing customer orders and set delivery priorities to make schedule adjustments and meet timely delivery goals.• Responsible to make critical business decisions in consultation with CDO/CTO• Responsible for proactively managing service performance to meet or exceed SLAs and other contractual obligations• Responsible for driving operational accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus• Partnering with Sales, Key Account Management and Product teams to identify and drive new business opportunities• Responsible for acting as the primary escalation point for daily operational issues• Responsible for guiding and managing complex projects which have content and technology pieces or content and our products• Responsible for identifying and recommending process improvements both to clients and to internally to custom content delivery team, as needed• Responsible for driving technical innovation, best practices, and overall delivery excellence The individual must have the capability to lead global teams, should be agile to growth and do things differently with ability to navigate through unstructured thinking. He should have a good communication (Internal + external + US offices) and should be able to work with both front-end (US) / back-end (India) teams Bachelor’s degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field.• 17 + years of experience in technology related roles including relevant work as technical architect• Strong Experience in handling Application Development and Maintenance projects• Experience working in an Agile-SCRUM environment using tools like Jira or equivalent• Experience working with international customers (US and UK preferable)• Ability to effectively communicate with various levels of employees ranging from entry level to senior leadership• Proven strong relationship-building and communication skills with team members and business users.
