Head of Engineering

Job Description Elevation Recruitment Group is excited to partner with a leading manufacturer in Wakefield to recruit a Head of Engineering. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to oversee all engineering operations, implement efficient processes, and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities of the Head of Engineering will include: Lead and manage a skilled maintenance team Deliver and oversee projects, including machinery installations and process modifications Ensure effective routine and breakdown maintenance operations Coordinate and manage regular and ad hoc engineering contractors and sub-contractors Oversee the management and optimisation of engineering spares inventory Plan, organise, and report progress on engineering initiatives We are keen to speak with Heads of Engineering / Engineering Managers with the following: Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering NEBOSH National General Certificate Demonstrated experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment Ideally, a background in textiles or plastics manufacturing Proven track record in project management, particularly machinery installations and process improvements This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving organisation where your expertise ...
